Teddy Bears for children in foster care
Do you have any excess teddy bears lying around that could do with a new home?
We're collecting teddies to go to children from CYFS, a lot of these children have never had a teddy bear and in my eyes it is so important (especially for these children who have had such a rocky start to life) to have a security/comfort object, so we have made it our mission to get teddy bears to as many children in care as we possibly can but we need your help!
At this point the teddies will be dropped off to an organisation in South Auckland that hosts access visits for the children and their families to be distributed to the kid's (will be making it more widespread in the future hopefully).
All donations will be very very much appreciated
The reason we chose bears is because as we've had teddy bears from birth they have a very special meaning for us which we want to share with these children. Teddy bears are synonymous with being very friendly. lovable and cuddly toys :) Teddies in excellent condition only please. Here are the drop off points.
